Hello,
I have three hosts on which I am getting an error "CLRSYNC1 error: (c) XSIDiff 2.0.0.0 not licensed (20.00 GB limit)".
One of the licenses is XSIDiff_24691_license_000406F100000000000000003497f65a8bc5.key (if you can check something). I am sure that I have uploaded the correct one because I have compared MAC address of that host.
I am using version XSIBACKUP-FREE 11.2.8.
What I tried is to delete request.key and after it's recreated I have uploaded it but no new licence is created. Licence key is in correct folder xsi-dir.
Can you please check this.
Regards

If you have upgraded to (c)XSIBackup-Pro 11.2.15 or above, that is not the right license key. New license keys begin by the MAC address, thus it should be something like:
a417f35a8bc5_...
In that case you should regenerate a new license key, the old ones can be deleted once you have set the new ones up.
Please, read the change log before upgrading your software.

I have one ESXI host with XSIBACKUP-PRO 11.2.12 version and there I have a licence with key 0894ef13e540... From there I am backing up other hosts which have XSIBACKUP-FREE 11.2.8 and for them licence is starting XSIDiff... not with a MAC

You can't mix XSIBackup versions at your will. Please install latest Pro version in one host and uninstall Free version from all other hosts to allow Pro to manage them.

Hi, did that. Removed XSI Backup free from other hosts. Did upgrade of XSIBACKUP-PRO to version 11.2.19, before it was 11.2.12. I have a license for XSIDiff but still getting error CLXSITO1 error: (c) XSIDiff 2.0.0.0 not licensed (20.00 GB limit).
I am starting backup like this
/vmfs/volumes/freeNAS/xsibackup/XSIBackup-Pro/xsibackup --host=x.x.x.x:22 --snapshot=doquiesce --backup-prog=xsitools:z --backup-room=10000 --backup-type=custom --backup-vms="Test" --mail-to=x@x --subject="XSI Report" --backup-point=/someDirectory --use-smtp=1

I have also deleted request.key and when the new one was generated I have uploaded it to get new licence key but didn't get any. Still have the old one

Hi Team, been using XSIBackup Free and PRO for a long time now.
We have purchased and renewed the current PRO version.
My question is about the following: I have sucessfully installed the new PRO version, I have submitted the keys (check user sgalera...) and then I downloaded the site generated new xxxxxxlicense.key file. Meanwhile I created a job and launched it locally (and it is currently running) .
Upon the first VM being backed up I noticed by the XSIDiff Alert that indicates that I forgot to copy the license.key file to the xsi-dir (i know, its a PRO and the actual installation dir is /scratch/XSI/XSIBackup-Pro/) and then I did copy the file while the job is still running. Since the key file is in place and the message appeared once every VM copy start, I expected this time on the next VM being copied the license.key file were recognized.
To my surprise the Alert message is still showing and the copies are being done with RSync... (sloooowly) Do I have to wait until the next job run to see the changes? or is there something I missed like a process restart or similar. Can you add an alert on the XSI PRO version while using the GUI that XSIDiff is still unactivated and not allowing the XSIDiff selection as backup method, on the GUI job build process? Also could you add to the GUI an easy way to kill the current running task?
Thanks for your time reading this and sorry for the long email. I hope I made my point.
Thanks for your excellent products!

Yes, key is checked once at the beginning of the job.
