Two kind of errors when backing up

Hi!

I just started using XSIBACKUP-PRO. I did a backup from one ESXi machine to another ESXi machine. Both machines run ESXi 6.7.0 Update 1 (Build 10302608) and are new machines.

I get two different kind of errors which I do not understand:

error: SHA1 chunk hashes check failed

and

error: failed to update the block count

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2019-03-07T07:12:35|  Excluded disks removed from backup .vmx file

The first error I get for all machines that are backed up, the second error I get only for some machines.

Re: Two kind of errors when backing up

I would first focus on the most obvious error: XSITools error: failed to update the block count
This indicates that the number of blocks could not be updated on the remote host. Any other additional more thorough test is not important compared to this error as they are value added additional checks.

Contact support with your exact build number so that we reproduce your exact environment.
Never forget XSIBackup constraints in regards to especial characters in paths.
