yeah we do frequent backups and when I did a head, it has references to 2012.
Also, there was a lot of entries at one point referencing to a misconfiguration from the previous Admin which may have filled up the file and ran for months.
So I will rename it and let the XSI create a new one like you mentioned which seems to be the best method. I can then offload it to a TB backup drive and rotate manually if needed.

Just noticed our current xsibackup-cron.log is nearing 271G
Is there a log rotate function, size management script, or recommended process for manageing the xsibackup-cron.log file size?
