XSIBackup-DC 1.7.1.7 prohibit overwriting identical file names

Hi,

In one of my VMs, two VMDKs were referenced that were stored in two different folders but having the same file name:

./VM-folder/disk.vmdk
./other_folder/disk.vmdk

When replicating the VM, all files are written into the same directory so that the second disk, in the backup/replication, overwrites the data of the first disk. For obvious reasons, this problem cannot be easily overcome.  However, I recommend raising an error when detecting such circumstances as the backup/replication does not work.

Best regards,
Peter

In case of backups this is handled and the duplicate disk is suffixed. In case of replicas you need to rename the disks to make them unique, this is something rather simple.
