Unable to restore in XSIBACKUP-PRO 10.3.4

Hello,

now my backup is moothly running for months, so I didn't update anymore and I don't want to ... but today finally I found the time to try a restore - which fails - see the output below.

So, what's going wrong?

Best, Johannes

XSIBACKUP-PRO is able to detect VMs up to two levels below the provided path
This way it can detect VMs stored to the root of it or in timestamped subfolders

Re: Unable to restore in XSIBACKUP-PRO 10.3.4

Well, the restore module is asking you to create the restore dir first. You created /vmfs/volumes/datastore1/new_dir, now execute the restore operation again and set the newly created dir as the restore point.

Re: Unable to restore in XSIBACKUP-PRO 10.3.4

Shame on me ... I did understand wrong "create it first" ... thought it means, XSIBackup is trying to create ...

Sorry for my bad english and thank you so much for your patience and help!
Johannes

Re: Unable to restore in XSIBACKUP-PRO 10.3.4

No worries smile
We'll probably end up allowing the restore module to create the dir, in case it doesn't exist.
