Binary regexfilt missing from XSIBackup-Free 1.4.3.18?

Good morning,

I'm running XSIBackup-Free 1.4.3.18 and when I try to verify my regexp with the gui  it cant find regexfilt.. Is the file missing from my build version?

Please post some output/ example, we can't figure out what you mean with enough precision to offer a detailed answer.

in xsibackup-gui:

I add a --exclude argument  value ".*full_disk_?.vmdk"

Once it is saved I have a Check Regexp menu option available to hopefully see if the files I want will be excluded.

When I test my regexp I get the following errors:

Gui/Main: Eval: line 546: /scratch/XSI/XSIBackup-DC/bin/regexfilt: not found

The error shows up as many times as I have files in each VM directory.

There is no binary called regexfilt in the bin directory.

I am running XSIBackup-Free 1.4.3.18

Is there a command line argument to do the regexp test?

Yes, that was probably a mistake at the time to pack latest versions. We have re-added the binary regexfilt to 1.5.0.2, just published.

There's still an issue with that REGEXP exclusion part of the GUI. It does not work.
It will be fixed in 1.5.0.3 later today.

It is the helper to simulate the disks/files that will be excluded that fails, not the exclude mechanism itself.
You can easily add that in the job file and test it in the command line.

(c)XSIBackup-DC 1.5.0.3 has been published and the REGEXP simulator feature of the --exclude argument has been fixed.
