Re: XSIBACKUP-DC error for replica on 2 hosts esxi

Hello ... I don't know if it will be the same problem but it seems that when installing XSIBackup-DC 1.4.2.3 the directory "mail" is not created in the path "var/spool/". Try creating it manually.

Re: XSIBACKUP-DC error for replica on 2 hosts esxi

After going crazy 2 hours on host T410 seeing that the directory in question existed, I tried to create the folder / usr / bin / var / spool / mail on the target machine (192.168.175.8) and magically now the Replica works.

Very strange since the two machines are fresh install vmware esxi

Re: XSIBACKUP-DC error for replica on 2 hosts esxi

Thank you for your feedback Alessio and Cuchillo for his help. All folders should be created automatically if they don't exist, we'll revise the code to make sure this happens as designed. Post here or contact support if you need some more personalized assistance.

UPDATE:
Yes, you are right. This was due to the fact that there is an excess of checks, that folder has to be checked and created if it does not exist, but no error should be returned in case it does not exist.

It will be fixed in next programmed release.

UPDATE:
We fixed it through a minor update in current 1.4.2.3 that does not affect the visible version.
