VM exclusion list

I would love to build on the RUNNING / ALL VM identification feature of DC. There are some occurances where I desire to use:

--backup "VMs(ALL)"

but would like to exclude 1 or 2 VMs by name. The reason I am using ALL is because DC is running within a cluster and I cant guarantee that vCenter has not migrated a VM from one host to another, so cannot have a static list. But I do not want to backup a couple VMs if they are present.

Would this be possible for you to consider?

The only other thing I may be able to do now is use the

--exclude [=REGEXP]

to match the actual files.

Thank you!

Re: VM exclusion list

Use the --disable-vmotion argument.

Re: VM exclusion list

thanks - i understand that option but it will not help my specific use case. i will work around the lack of VM exclusion option another way.
