#This the command I use, basically I want to backup xNAS to \vmfs\volumes\pool\backup and XSI was installed on \backup
/backup/XSIBackup-Free # ./xsibackup --date-dir*yes --backup-prog*Vmkfstools --backup-point*\vmfs\volumes\pool\backup --backup-type*custom --backup-how*hot --backup-vms*"xNAS"

The --mail-from string has not been set
The --smtp-srv string has not been set
The --smtp-port string has not been set
The --smtp-usr string has not been set, you need --smtp-usr if --smtp-auth is other than -none-
The --smtp-pwd string has not been set, you need --smtp-pwd if --smtp-auth is other than -none-

Why are you using asterisks instead of equal signs to separate arguments from their values?
