Hello, i am trying to use the backups that xsibackup creates to import into AWS. However AWS says that it can only import images if they were exported rather than backed up. Can xsibackup do this? Otherwise i would have to manually stop a VM export it and restarted it. Not a very good way to do backups, lol
We have no control on what AWS accepts as input and we do not announce compatibility with AWS in any way.
That said (do not forget it).
Make a replica, mount it in ESXi and export it as .ovf. The only drawback you will have is the data written to the production VM while you upload to AWS.
