Upgrade from ESXi 6.5 to ESXi 6.7 with Secure Boot Enabled

I was formerly using xsibackup-free under ESXi 6.5 without secure boot enabled without issue. Then I upgraded to ESXi 6.7 with secure boot enabled and now xsibackup-free won't run anymore, giving the error "Operation not permitted". I understand this has to do with secure boot being enabled, which was done for security purposes. Is there any way to make xsibackup-free work with secure boot?
