Re: Upload request.key?

1 - Go to the user area: https://33hops.com/user-login.html
2 - Login by using your registered e-mail address. Generate a provisional password the first time by just entering your e-mail address.
3 - Switch product in the left menu: XSIBackup-Pro or XSIBackup-DC, the latter in this case.
4 - Click on (c)XSIBackup-DC licenses
5 - Select a free slot and click on "Upload request.key". Browse your disk and select the request.key file.
6 - Click on "Submit licenses" up over the second column.
7 - Close tyhe confirmation dialog by clicking on it and refresh the panel after 5-7 minutes.
8 - Download your license once it appears in the licenses column.
9 - Rename it to license.key and place it in your installation root dir in the ESXi host.

You may need an SCP client to download your request.key file, you may also use the vSphere client by using the built in datastore browser. There are several other methods to download and upload files from your ESXi host.

In case you prefer a simple to use Windows app, you may use WinSCP, it's simple to install and easy to use.

Re: Upload request.key?

The e-mail you use as your user name for the forum is a free account. Your registered e-mail address is the one you used to buy the software, if you are just using the Free Trial you don't need to upload any request.key file.
