Hi,
I just upgraded my xsibackup-pro to 9.1.5. Since then, the backup process cannot complete, no email receive anymore. I cannot find any procedure to upgrade to 9.1.5. Is there any special things to change ?
this is my command line in cron to backup my VM :
"/vmfs/volumes/Datastore01/xsi-dir/xsibackup" backupid=01 --time="Mon 01:00|Tue 01:00|Wed 01:00|Thu 01:00|Fri 01:00" --backup-prog=onediff --backup-point="x.x.x.x:22:/vmfs/volumes/datastore1/" --backup-type=custom --backup-vms="VM01,VM02,VM0x" --mail-to=xxx@xxx.com --smtp-auth=none --img-list="none;|none;|none;|none;|none;|none" --snapshot=excludememory,dontquiesce
Some of the errors I have in the xsibackup-cron.log
[VM01] info: transfering snapshot file [VM01_1-000002-delta.vmdk]

Should I remove all backup point and restart from scratch ?
Thanks for help,

First remove this
--snapshot=excludememory,dontquiesce
XSIBACKUP-PRO 9.1.5 excludes memory by default now, and the quiescing possibility should be also autodetected, you can still add the option dontquiesce manually anyway.
You have a double slash here
datastore1//VMxx
Remove the slash from the end of the backup path.
You need to reinitialize the OneDiff chain, as the current snapshot was not integrated to the mirror VM.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your answer. What about reinitialize the OneDiff chain ? How can I do that ?
Thanks,

Start from scratch by removing the mirrored virtual machine. XSIBACKUP-PRO will detect this condition, but removing is the best way to make sure. Although we have improved upgrade side effects, an ESXi reboot is still needed after an XSIBackup upgrade.
/vmfs/volumes/Datastore01/xsi-dir/xsibackup: line 3: 5: Bad file descriptor
The above message indicates a crashed shell environment. Best way to recover is a simple reboot of the ESXi host.

OK, copy that, I will reboot my ESXi servers and remove the mirrored virtual machine.
Thanks Daniel !
