Cron issue

I recently updated to ESXi 6.7U2.
Now I cannot start the cron anymore and read about the issue with busybox.
Is this still an issue? Is there any solution yet in the Free Version of XSIBackup?
I also don't have a machine running 6.5 anymore to get the older busybox version.

Cron should work in ESXi U2, but you must be aware of the fact that Busybox utilities are basic utilities, very basic, extremely basic; ESXi cron lacks even a control script, thus it can be picky and requires you to control wether it's loaded or not, or if two instances are running simultaneosly, etc...
