Hi,
I found a few threads on the forums about some issues with XSIBackup in combination with ESXi 6.7 U2 - I am having the same issue and cannot setup XSIBackup on that machine.
Judging by the other threads, it has been mentioned that you are working/testing a new version of XSIBackup which will be compatible with ESXi 6.7 U2. As far as I could however see, this was for the Pro version.
Are there any plans on releasing a compatible version for the free users?
Please don't get me wrong, I'd love to get the paid version to support the development of this tool, unfortunately this decision is not in my hands and so I have to stick with the free version.

Do not use ESXi 6.7.0 U2 in production. This is the best advice we can offer you.

I know what you mean but I have no choice, since our head of IT already put that on as well as installed a lot of VMs and does not want to downgrade anymore.
So we are not getting a new compatible version of XSIBackup (free) for the above ESXi version?

I found that commenting out line 200, and uncommenting 201 in xsibackup at least allows the script to run without bash syntax errors. I get the message "Killed" in the logfile when I try to run it from cron, but if I copy the contents of the 001 script and paste that to the shell, it runs. May be something peculiar to my system that causes the cron to not work, and could be unrelated.
