Install question

Have a Dell poweredge r710 running esxi 6.
Ran the install script and said everything installed. Installed to default directory.

1. When I cd to the directory it puts like an string of characters into the path before the xir directory
2. The command . /xsibackup can be run only from the directory
3. The directory disappears after a reboot

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Re: Install question

XSIBackup is not compatible with manufacturer builds, those builds are just commercial mousetraps, please use official VMWare builds instead.

You must install to a persistent path.

Re: Install question

Too bad. Don't want to redo everything
