Missing sesparse files from XSITools, Rsync, XSIDiff, Borg ## FIXED!

########### FIXED in 11.0.0 ###########

This bug report does not apply to OneDiff, which relies heavily on snapshot and does manage -sesparse.vmdk files O.K. by means of a different method

The abobe backup programs create a backup snapshot when used to backup your VMs, once the backup finishes, the backup snapshot is removed. The bug only affects VMs that: are bigger than 2 tb. in ESXi below version 6.5.0 and VMs that use VMFS6 (this kind of VMs use sesparse snapshots) and that at the same time are running on top of a snapshot previous to backing them up.

When you are running a VM on top of a snapshot and then run a backup with any of the above programs, an additional snapshot is created on top of the previous one. In these cases XSIBackup will try, not only to backup your base disks, but also to collect all other eventually existing snapshot files to back them up too. If you have -sesparse.vmdk files then XSIBackup will fail to grab them.

Please note that running a VM on top of a snapshot is not very usual, especially on production VMs, if you add on top of that the fact that only VMs that meet the above criteria will be affected, the number of affected users will probably be percentually very small.

Remember that this does not affect your base data.

We are preparing a fix that will be included in XSIBACKUP-PRO 11.0.0 and will provide this fix for 10.3.4 too.
