path to .xsitools is empty

We're experiencing an issue with a single VM that we can't seem to get backed up :
(c)XSIBackup-DC replicating data to /xsibackup-dc/212-replica/newmirrors
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Performing --replica action
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backup folder '/xsibackup-dc/212-replica/newmirrors'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Source is a file: VMs(newmirrors)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2022-08-07T11:05:06 | Error code 4601 at file common.c, line 4601 | Error description: path to .xsitools is empty
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2022-08-07T11:05:06 | Error code 4612 at file common.c, line 4612 | Error description: can't find .xsitools file at:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2022-08-07T11:05:06 | Error code 216 at file signal.c, line 216 | Error description: raised SIGTERM (11) (2) in job, total errors: 11, check error.log
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The command being used is :
  /scratch/XSI/XSIBackup-DC/xsibackup \
    --replica=cbt \
    "VMs(newmirrors)" \
    root@192.168.0.8:22:/xsibackup-dc/212/newmirrors \
    --use-smtp="2" \
    --backup-how="hot" \
    --config-backup \
    --mail-to="backupreports@somedomain.com" \
    --quiesce \
    --rotate="5D"

The /xsibackup-dc/212/newmirrors path exists but it is empty, ready to be used. File permissions are identical to other paths for VMs where backups are succeeding.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong ?

Re: path to .xsitools is empty

Please, next time publish the full output, so that we can have as many details as possible. The header contains valuable information such as (c)ESXi and (c)XSIBackup versions, file system, free space, CPU, available RAM, etc...

The key in this case is this piece of info:

Source is a file: VMs(newmirrors)

You get that message when (c)XSIBackup detects that there exists one folder/file by the name passed as the second argument: VMs(newmirrors).

Thus, there must be some folder/file named "VMs(newmirrors)" relative to xsibackup binary that was maybe created by some previous wrong attempt to test the job.

It could be somewhere else if the working dir is not the main (c)XSIBackup installation dir.

Re: path to .xsitools is empty

Thanks. Not really sure how that happened, but I indeed had a file named "VMs(newmirrors)".
Removing that solved it.
