There's a trick to tail xsibackup.log while xsi is running?

Hi to all,

When tailing -f on an xsibackup.log file I cannot see it advancing ... I mean no percentage going up... Is there a trick to see it "live"? Something at the TERM level?

tail -f is OK and should work on any system.
