Thank you. That is also my object, I will prefer to not back up the RDM-hdd, due to the space they require.

Thank you. It works! Understand the FREE version have no option to exclude the RDM-virtual disk, and this exclusion might be done in the paid version?

If VM is running they are not backed up, the .vmdk-file halts the backup somehow (the .vmx-file backs up). In ESXi controlpanel I can see that "snapshot-failed" in the running log. Get error that one VM has a virtual hdd connected to SCSI.

Did shut down the VM. Then they are backed up, but this one VM has an RDM-hdd 4TB mounted, and XSI tries to backup that one also now (but running out of space). The RDM-mount is set as "independent-persistent" to avoid backup of this hdd..

To avoid backup is maybe not supported on "independent-persistent"?
And with the VM running then the RDM-mounted "virtual-hdd" is not supported på XSI?
