Hello team -

Finally had a chance to setup the NFS Server/Client and get my ESXi host mounting a NFS Datastore on my Ubuntu Box.
However, when I start a backup, I get the following error.
Any ideas?

Destination disk format: VMFS thin-provisioned
Cloning disk '/
vmfs/volumes/data-ds/bravo/bravo_1-000006.vmdk'...
CLVMKFS1 error: Failed to clone disk: Input/output error (327689)
or
CLVMKFS1 error: Failed to clone disk: the file already exists (39)

Backup finished

Ah, that's what I thought. Fair enough. Next time I'll leave the Putty session open!

Thanks for getting back to me. I looked for the file, and can't see it. Is it somewhere else on my system?

Hello everyone,
I'm testing XSI in a closed system (no internet, no SMTP server).
Where are the log files XSI generates?
As I don't/can't get an emailed update, where do I check to see if the backup completed?

Thank you,

Ed

Hello,
Ran across your app and it's LOOKS GREAT!!!!! However, not sure if it will work for what I want.

I wanted to backup my VM's to another computer which is running Ubuntu. It's not another ESXi host.
Can XSIBackup do that?
IE: Can I change the --backup-point to be my Ubuntu box and not an ESXi host?
