Perfect, this helped. The install didn't change the permissions. Took me a while to figure that out, thanx for pointing me in the right direction. Now all my XSI problems went away. :-)
Linux is not my native OS.

Hi
Maybe just a user error but when I try to run  a backup of another server (linked with --link-srv) the system tries to copy files (with scp) to
a non-existing datastore on the other server.

scp: /vmfs/volumes/datastore1/xsi-dir: No such file or directory

I need to specify the name of the datastore on the other server as they are changed and not the same.

Local server xsi-dir
/vmfs/volumes/ESX3LocalDS1/xsi-dir

The localstore on the remote is called "ESX1DS1"


Is it possible to specify this??
